PITOX, ITOX Examinations / Accredited Certificates
PITOX is an accredited exam which is planned and operated by Oxford Academy for further education in Iran. PITOX is a pre-requisite exam for those who like to attend the intermediate courses at Tehran Oxford. The written exam consists of listening, vocabulary, Grammar, Reading and Writing which is followed by an interview on other day. The test format, except the writing part, is multiple-choice and has 75 marks. The interviews are held by the representatives of Oxford Academy and all candidates are to pass it. The interview has 25 marks. For candidates who get 65 and above (out of 100), the certificates will be issued for those who fail the exam, they will have to retake the exam. Those who can not pass PITOX for the second time, he/she must retake the Pre-intermediate 6 level.
