Tehran Oxford

This English language course covers speaking, listening, reading and writing skills, naturally including grammar and vocabulary. The main emphasis of this course is on practical communication to build up your vocabulary and help to develop fluency and confidence. Participants are given plenty of opportunities to practise the spoken English language through discussions, debates and conversation activities, such as role-play and pair-work.

Basic Courses:

For one who would like to learn how to speak English fluently from basic, could join our classes & enjoy the benefit of our books as well as experiencing a new world whilst learning a new foreign language. The courses consist of 14 terms, 4 starter levels, 4 elementary levels plus 6 Pre-Intermediate levels.

Goal: Learning the most important & the most used English sentences in everyday conversation plus many other useful vocabularies in English. Reading the end of each stage, students are to sit one exam. They are also interviewed by the members of the Board of Education. Should they pass both exams, they are allowed to attend the class of the higher level.

At the end of Pre-Intermediate stage, learners are to sit an exam PITOX (Pre-Intermediate Test of Oxford) held by ‘Oxford Academy for Further Education’ in order to give certificate to learners.

Learners get their certificates provided that they get over 65 & pass their exams.

Intermediate Courses:

Appears in 12 levels, 6 Intermediate and 6 Upper-Intermediate.

Goal: The courses aim at learning more complicated grammatical structures in English, expressions and lots of useful English vocabularies.

When finishing the 2 above mentioned stages the learners are to sit two exams ITOX (Intermediate Test of Oxford) and UITOX (Upper-Intermediate Test of Oxford) held by ‘Oxford Academy for Further Education’.

Learners get their certificates provided that they get over 65 & pass their exams.

Advanced Courses:

The stage begins with two options of 9 terms Advanced Course or 6 terms CAE Course (Certificate in Advanced English).

In 9 level Advanced courses, the learners study landmark Advanced which finishes landmark learning package, whereas, in CAE courses, CAE Result is covered. Learners could take part in CAE exam & on the condition of passing get CAE certificate from British council.

Goal: learning & understanding Advanced English texts, using expressing and practicing giving lectures plus literal vocabularies.
